FEE STRUCTURE AND REFUND – GUIDELINES AND POLICY
Section I – Fee Structure Components:
1. Admission Fee
2. Main Components of the Fee Structure:
a. Admission
b. Tuition
c. Examination
d. Computer Application (wherever applicable)
e. Student’s Programme (wherever applicable)
f. Library Fee
3. Other Charges
a. Registration Fee – Rs 600/- per student (inclusive of prospectus)
b. Security Deposit – Rs 1,000/- per student annually.
4. The Fee is subject to change from time to time.
Section II – General Guidelines:
1. Admission fee and Registration fee will be non-refundable.
2. Security Deposit will be refunded after successful completion of the course.
3. Fee shall be payable in five instalments. The first instalment will include admission fee in full and instalments of tuition fee and other charges.
4. For short term courses where fee is below Rs 50,000/- the fee will be payable in two instalments
5. The students also have the option of paying the entire fee in one instalment.
Section III – Refund Policy:
A. Admission Fee will not be refunded once admission is granted to the student.
B. If the course is cancelled by the YMCA management, then 100% fee is refunded including Admission Fee.
C. If the student who has been granted admission applies for refund, then the following components of Fee Structure shall be refunded:
i. Tuition fee
ii. Examination fee
iii. Computer Application fee
iv. Student’s Programme fee
v. Library Fee
vi. Security Deposit
D. However, the following conditions will apply if the student applies for refund:
a) Refund will apply on actual fee paid as per Section C. Admission fee and Registration fee is nonrefundable.
b) Applying for fee refund before the commencement of the course — 100% of the amount paid refunded.
c) Not having attended classes after the course is
commenced:
(i) Applied for fee refund within two days from commencement of the course – 75% of the amount paid is refunded.
(ii) Applied for fee refund between 3 to 7 days from commencement of the course — 50% of the amount paid is refunded.
(iii) Applied for fee refund between 8 to 15 days from commencement of the course —25% of the amount paid is refunded.
d) Having attended classes for 01 day:
(i) Applied for fee refund within two days from commencement of the course —70% of the amount paid is refunded.
(ii) Applied for fee refund between 3 to 7 days from commencement of the course — 40% of the amount paid is refunded.
(iii) Applied for fee refund between 8 to 15 days from commencement of the course —20% of the amount paid is refunded.
e) Having attended classes between 2 to 6 days of commencement of the course
(i) Applied for fee refund between 3 to 7 days — 50% of the amount paid is refunded.
(ii) Applied for fee refund between 8 to 15 days of course commencement —25% of the amount paid is refunded.
f) Applying for refund of fee after a lapse of 15 days of course commencement — No refund will be made.
E. In all the points mentioned above from B to D, fee refund will be made inclusive of GST.
F. In the event of dispute, the decision of General Secretary & CEO, New Delhi YMCA shall be final and binding on all concerned.
